Who we are

A&J Real Estate ("A&J", "we") is a boutique real estate agency operating in Bali, Indonesia. This policy covers the website you are on now. For anything in it, write to hello@aandjrealestate.com.

What we collect, and why

What you send us. When you submit the contact form (or email us), we receive what you share: your name and a phone or WhatsApp number (or whatever you include in an email). The form also records the page you sent it from and, if you arrived from an ad, the campaign it belonged to. This goes into our customer-relationship system, where our team uses it to answer you, prepare property options and coordinate the steps you ask for. That is either a step you request before a possible contract or our legitimate interest in responding to you.

Analytics, only with your consent. If you accept cookies, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand the site in aggregate: pages viewed, approximate location (city level), device type, and whether a visit led to an enquiry. IP addresses are anonymised. We see statistics, not you. If you decline, none of this runs and no analytics cookies are set.

Ad measurement, only with your consent. When we run advertising (for example on Meta platforms such as Facebook and Instagram), measurement tools like the Meta Pixel may record that a visit came from an ad, so we know the ad worked. These tools run only if you accept cookies. If we are not running ads, they set nothing at all.

Hosting. The site is served by Vercel, which processes IP addresses and technical request logs as any web host does, for delivery and security. Vercel also gives us cookieless page-view statistics: aggregate counts with no cookies, no persistent identifiers and nothing stored on your device, which is why they run without asking.

The cookies themselves

You can change your mind at any time: use Cookie settings(also in the footer of every page). Declining removes the analytics cookies we set earlier.

Where the data goes

Four processors touch data on our behalf: Google (analytics), Meta (ad measurement), Vercel (hosting of this site and of our customer-relationship system) and Supabase (the database where enquiries are stored). Each may process data outside your country, including in the United States, under their own published safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with anyone else, except local professionals you explicitly ask us to coordinate with (for example a notary), and only what that step needs.

How long we keep things

Enquiry messages: for as long as we are working on your brief, and a reasonable follow-up period after. Analytics data: 14 months, then Google deletes it. Your cookie choice: 12 months, then we ask again. You can ask us to delete your enquiry data earlier at any time.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, data-protection law (including the EU/UK GDPR and Indonesia's Personal Data Protection Law No. 27 of 2022) gives you the right to access, correct, delete and receive a copy of your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting past processing. To exercise any of these, emailhello@aandjrealestate.com. If you believe we have handled your data wrongly, you can also complain to the data-protection authority where you live.

The rest

This site is intended for adults; we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If we change this policy, the new version appears on this page with a new date at the top. A&J Real Estate does not provide legal, tax, or financial advice.
